Tony Joyce Curriculum Vitae
Mr. Joyce began his career in financial services in 1982. Formerly a Registered Investment Advisor under the regulatory auspices of the State of Florida Department of Banking and Finance, Tony was the Designated Principal and owner of his own investment advisory firm.
Mr. Joyce has extensive experience advising investment tax professionals, individual investors and corporations on equity portfolio management, traditional and alternative investment management, asset protection, risk aversion, pension plans, business development and capital introduction.
From 2004 to the present, his investment advisory practice has evolved into a more comprehensive offering as a Family Office Services Consultancy.
Throughout his institutional corporate career, Mr. Joyce was responsible for the placement of millions of dollars of investor funds. This led to a senior executive position responsible for the oversight of several billion dollars in assets under management.
His varied duties included working for large institutional entities such as banks, brokerage houses, insurance companies and hedge fund administrators. Tony coordinated all aspects of sales, marketing, operations and relationship management pertaining to investment products. Mr. Joyce held positions with such firms as Paine Webber, The Guardian Life, Wells Fargo Investment Advisors and Fortis, one of the largest administrators of hedge fund assets in the world.
Mr. Joyce has volunteered his time in support of several different charitable and community organizations in New York and Florida. These efforts included Little League President, Boys and Girls Club Unit Board President, Hedge Funds Care and Miami City Ballet. Tony was the founding Chairman of Shake-A-Leg Miami’s Blue Tee Day, a fund-raising golf tournament held in conjunction with the Senior PGA Tour’s Royal Caribbean Classic on Key Biscayne, FL. Tony also served on the VIP Committee for the 1999 Super Bowl XXXIII Host Committee in Miami, including the Super Bowl VIP Golf tournament committee.
After a four-year tour of duty in the Strategic Air Command, United States Air Force, as a Pharmacy Technician, Mr. Joyce graduated from Syracuse University, attending the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He graduated from the School of Visual and Performing Arts with a degree in communication. Tony has enjoyed international travel primarily in Western Europe and the Caribbean. He played fullback during a nine-year amateur Rugby career. Tony is a life-long golfer and has resided in Miami since 1994.
